The Kiwanis Club of Skidaway is a group of 150+ men and women who work to bring hope to at-risk children in the Savannah-Chatham County area. We provide over $120,000 per year and countless volunteer hours to help children in our area. Our club has been serving Savannah’s kids since 1988. We’ve raised and distributed over $2,000,000 and invested over 300,000 service hours in our mission.
Our club sponsors several fundraising events each year: our Flag Program, a Chili Cook-off, a Pancake Breakfast, and, beginning this fall, our first annual dinner and concert.
Corporate sponsors listed below also provide significant needed support for our charitable causes.
We meet each Thursday morning, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. in the Palmetto Ballroom, where we have a brief business meeting and a guest speaker. We boast about our list of speakers because they come from a wide array of backgrounds and inform us on such things as local history, sports, local or national events, art, literature, business, and service opportunities. See the events calendar for upcoming speakers.
We are part of Kiwanis International, a world-wide organization with more that 8,000 clubs and 300,000 members.
Come and join our spirited, fun-loving team and reap the rewards of fellowship while getting the deep satisfaction of bringing hope to the at-risk children of Savannah.
